Council Votes to Accept State Grant for Façade Program

 

At their July 21 meeting the Town Council voted to accept a $200,000 Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant from the State Department of Economic and Community Development to be used to provide additional funds for the Town's façade improvement program. Funds will be used to provide loans to commercial improvement projects located outside of the Silas Deane Highway business corridor primarily in Old Wethersfield and the Berlin Turnpike.
