Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers supplement the Parks and Recreation Department and allow the department to bring creativity and vitality to its programs and offerings. Consider donating your time and joining the ranks of the many dedicated people already volunteering.

The Nature Center is seeking volunteers to help with teaching, animal and plant care, computer projects, publicity and exhibit design. Interested parties should call 529-3075.

THERAPEUTIC OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteer with after school, Special Olympics training and fundraising events. Enhance the skills and experiences of our children and/or teens while gaining valuable experiences and lasting memories. Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older. Contact Natalie Morrison at 721-2952.

OTHER OPENINGS

The Wethersfield Parks & Recreation Department has additional volunteer opportunities including Special Events, Cleanup of Parks, Environment and Nature Projects, Aquatics and many, many more.
