Welcome Statement

Welcome to the Wethersfield Parks and Recreation Department official web site. Whether it's a quiet stroll on a nature trail at Wintergreen Woods, playing softball under the lights at Mill Woods Park or meeting at the Historic 1774 Solomon Welles House for a family outing, Wethersfield has something to offer for everyone. Wethersfield has 626.92 acres of parkland with unique areas such as Wintergreen Woods, Wethersfield Cove and the 1860 Reservoir (see Profiles) where open space, wooded areas and natural ponds make Wethersfield a beautiful and special place to live.
